There is this place in old San Juan that people go to feed the pigeons. Mostly it just reminded me of the pigeon lady in Home Alone. Then the locals give the tourists bird feed and the tourists get into it. We watched all of the people and the pigeons for quite some time (one of the best places in all of Puerto Rico to get a vegetarian sandwich is located right next to it).

Finally the kids started getting into it. And apparently thought it would be fun to put the bird feed in their hair. You hear people laughing and saying things like “oh, thats so cute”.

Thats not cute! Has any ever seen Alfred Hitchcock’s Birds? And did anyone think of how dirty pigeons are? I mean would you go to a big city and put bird seed in your hair in hopes of a flying rat or 3 landing on it, and probably leaving some poop up in there?
