Budweiser sells out, gets better 30Sep08 | 0

When I heard Inbev was planning on buying out Budweiser I thought we were loosing some great American brewer. When I think of Budweiser I think of apple pie, hot dogs and baseball. No, I don’t like the taste of the stuff, but I am sad to see them go. As far as watered down piss beer goes, Budweiser was the créme de la créme. Now they are going to be making some decent stuff?

Inbev also owns Becks, Stella Artois, Labatt Blue and a bunch of other beers I have never heard of. They are based out of Belgium. It seemed like as soon as Inbev did buy out Budweiser they started pushing this whole “we are American” ad campaign. Which in retrospect, seems a little ironic.

I stopped by Abg’s the other day for a drink and overheard some people talking about Bud’s new American Ale. Since the general tone in the conversation was quite positive I figured I would give it a shot. I was impressed to taste that American Ale is actually quite good. It really didn’t feel like a domestic beer, more like a little local brewer. I would totally pick up a 12er in the future.

In the end it actually worked out, at least for me, the consumer.

Seriously serious 21Sep08 | 1

Just a random thought about Thom Bownes runway show in New York a couple weeks ago.  I watched a couple little behind the scenes about it and was surprised to hear all of the positive reaction to it. Now you add a tutu to mens wear and suddenly you are “brilliant”? I don’t get it, and I don’t think the model does either. Look at that look on his face…Stay cool hotshot, stay cool.

your gay, aim. 17Sep08 | 2

I got this today when I put my laptop to sleep then woke it up again after about 10 minutes. Apparently you arent allowed to sign in then sign out too much with aim while using Adium.  I never have any other problems with any other instant messaging services. Aim is usually the one to give me the weird error messages. With that being said, I would like to tell you this, Aim. Your gay. That is all.

Go macro, go 17Sep08 | 2

I have found that I hate pretty much everything about my Nikon Coolpix l15 point and shoot camera. It takes way too long to focus on most pictures. It takes way too long to save pictures. It takes way too long to turn on. All of the colors look boring in most of the pictures . I have been having many problems with it lately it will freeze up and give me a “lens error” error and won’t allow itself to be shut off. Which means I have to take out the batteries and re insert them. Boo Hiss.

I would have to say that the one feature on it i do like is the macro. It still sucks because it takes like 10 years just to focus on the subject. After you finish 4 beers waiting for the thing to finish focusing, the shots usually turn out pretty nice. Here are a couple. I am leaving them in almost full size. So enjoy scrolling around the picture when you click on it.

The top one was taken at Salem Pond. 2nd down was taken up in Thistle, Utah, Third one down was take at Thistle, Utah. The last one was taken when I was out in Denver.

another one 03Sep08 | 5

Just finished another bag. Mostly to see if I could sell it on Etsy.com. It is listed for 20 dollars. WIsh me luck! Oh, By the way, I bought that orange fabric when I was out in Denver last. It was a shower curtain most likely from the 60’s.

The strap on was from some craft store and they kept asking me what I was making. I was all STFU!
